With the New York skyline changing everyday, the New York New York Casino and Hotel responded with a complete remodel of the 91,000 square foot Casino Floor. THOR Construction was selected to make the contemporary vision a reality. Not only did THOR Construction handle the Pre-Construction services, but the coordination of all Design and Construction between property and the Owner was taken care of as well. THOR Construction completed the project in 10 phases all while the property was in full operation. The remodel entirely restructured and created a new layout for all slots and table games on the casino floor with no interruption of casino services. One of the focal points of this remodel is the many custom fabricated canopies over the gaming tables that are 19 feet tall and up to 110 feet long. The one-of-a-kind LED lighting and the all-new casino floor signage, both overhead and floor mounted is definitely a sight to be seen. Among the challenging requirements of gaming, electrical capacities, casino floor logistics and layout, this was another successful job that THOR Construction was proud to be a part of.
