In Phase II, THOR Construction installed this cast-in-place concrete drainage collection structure as part of the airport's comprehensive storm sewer realignment project. The scope of work included 1,630 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete, base slab, walls and shored roof. Taking space saving measures, THOR was able to bury the entire structure beneath a rerouted roadway.In Phase III of the Metropolitan Airport Commission's comprehensive storm sewer realignment project, THOR Construction was hired to install fourteen cast-in-place concrete storm sewer diversion and drainage structures. This phase of the project consisted of 2,500 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete and 249 tons of reinforcing steel.
